About Spicers Sangoma Retreat

Spicers Sangoma Retreat is cocooned by the natural serenity of the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. Just over an hour from Sydney, and aptly named after the Zulu word for healer, Sangoma is a place where guests discover complete rejuvenation and true reconnection.

The role and key duties

• Curate an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish.
• Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
• Conduct consultations to understand guest requirements and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Perform a variety of spa treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments, and other therapeutic services.
• Educate guests on spa services, products, and wellness practices.
• Stay informed about spa products and services and promote them to guests.
• Upsell additional treatments and retail products to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols.

Essential criteria required to be considered 

• Qualification in Beauty Therapy and Remedial Massage (essential)
• Previous experience in a luxury spa or hotel environment is preferred.
• Have a love for all things Spa & Massage, with a passion for creating a memorable experience.
• Strong knowledge of wellbeing, skin and wellness products with ability to guide and educate our guests.
• Professional appearance and demeanour.
• Ability and willingness to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
• A reliable vehicle to get to and from work.
