The Role

We have an exciting opportunity at The Hydro Majestic Hotel for casual Food & Beverage Attendants to join our dedicated team. As a Food and Beverage Attendant at The Hydro Majestic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary. You will manage a designated section of the restaurant, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to guests' needs.

About the Hydro Majestic Hotel

Just 1 hour and 45 minutes’ drive from Sydney CBD, The Hydro Majestic is the iconic historical hotel stretching 1.1km along the escarpment edge of the spectacular World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains overlooking the picturesque Megalong Valley.

The Role and key duties

• Curate an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish;
• Forge loyal relationships with guests and locals to promote repeated clientele;
• Providing menu recommendations and explain our food philosophy to our guests;
• Provie food & beverage recommendations by identifying opportunities to upsell;
• Maintain a clean and organized section, including tables, chairs, and service stations;
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service;
• Handle payments and provide accurate billing information;
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Essential criteria required to be considered

• Prior experience working in a la carte, high-end or hatted restaurant environment;
• Ability to hold and manage a small section;
• Strong understanding of a sequence of service;
• A passion for food & wine;
• Ability and willingness to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays;
• A talent for customer service with a vibrant and outgoing nature.
