We have an exciting new opportunity at Spicers Vineyard Estate for casual Food & Beverage Attendants to join our passionate Food & Beverage team at the soon to be re-opened Botanica Restaurant.

As one of our Food & Beverage Attendants, you will be an integral part of delivering our dining experience to our guests, whether it be for a conference, leisure group or for our relaxed luxury dining offering.

About Spicers Vineyard Estate

In the heart of Pokolbin, Spicers Vineyards Estate is an intimate escape for food and wine lovers. Nestled on its own private, four-acre vineyard, the estate is the Hunter’s finest example of seclusion and privacy in a luxury setting. Overlooking the vines, Botanica Restaurant is currently undergoing a refurbishment with a brand-new fitout and concept, to showcase the finest Australian-grown ingredients utilising classic and modern French techniques.

The Role and Key Duties

• Curate an unforgettable and personalised service experience for our guests from start to finish;
• Ensure the restaurant is presented to a high standard at all times, oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, assist with the setup and service of special events, banquets, and private functions as needed;
• Forge relationships with guests and locals to promote clientele loyalty & retention;
• Maximize and identify opportunities to sell products & experiences that suit the needs of our guests;
• Process payments accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and room charges according to hotel policies;
• Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulations at all times.

Criteria Required to be Considered

• Prior experience in fine dining, hatted or high-end restaurant environment;
• Ability to run your own section;
• A genuine love for great food & wine (wine knowledge advantageous);
• A talent for customer service with a vibrant and outgoing nature;
• Ability and willingness to commence work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays;
• Reliable vehicle to get to and from the retreat;
• Located close to our restaurant or a willingness to relocate.
