As a member of our Salter Brothers Hospitality team, you’ll play a key role in creating meaningful experiences for both our guests and teammates through thoughtful service, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Milton Park Country House Hotel & Spa in Bowral, NSW, has undergone a $10 million transformation and recently reopened in February 2026 as Ardour Milton Park Bowral, the very first flagship in our new Ardour Hotels & Estates collection.

Nestled on a secluded hilltop woodland just under two hours from Sydney, Ardour Milton Park Bowral is a luxury escape like no other. Our 44-room heritage property boasts an adjoining wellness spa, two exceptional restaurants, and a stunning events pavilion - all set within 32 acres of manicured gardens and rolling lawns.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Curate an unforgettable and personalised service experience for our guests from start to finish;
  • Forge relationships with guests and locals to promote clientele loyalty & retention;
  • Maximize and identify opportunities to sell products & experiences that suit the needs of our guests;
  • Attentively maintain an organised section, including multiple tables and service stations;
  • Ensure the restaurant is presented to a high standard at all times, oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, assist with the setup and service of special events, banquets, and private functions as needed;
  • Provide menu recommendations and explain our food philosophy to our guests, and provide food & beverage recommendations by identifying opportunities to upsell;
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and room charges according to hotel policies.

You'll thrive in this role if you have...

  • Prior experience in high-volume or a la carte restaurant environment;
  • RSA certificate (essential);
  • A genuine love for great food & wine, a talent for customer service and a vibrant, outgoing nature;
  • Ability and willingness to commence work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays;
  • Reliable vehicle to get to and from the retreats;
  • Located close to our restaurant or a willingness to relocate.
