The Hydro Majestic located in the heart of the Blue Mountains is seeking both a Commis Chef and Chef de Partie to join our team. With multiple dining outlets in this iconic hotel we are seeking passionate and skilled Chefs who want to work with seasonal, fresh and local produce.

Just 1 hour and 45 minutes’ drive from Sydney CBD, The Hydro Majestic is the iconic historical hotel stretching 1.1km along the escarpment edge of the spectacular World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains overlooking the picturesque Megalong Valley.
Here's what you'll do
- Deliver our in-house dining menu inspired by local ingredients, prepared utilising creative preparation techniques.
- Curating an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish.
- Contribute to the development of new dishes and menu items.
- Work closely with other Chefs to ensure a cohesive and efficient kitchen operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Continuously develop your culinary skills by learning from senior chefs and participating in training sessions.
This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role
- Chef trade qualification (essential).
- Previous experience as a Chef in a la carte, fine dining or hatted restaurant environment;
- Industry knowledge of food health & safety;
- Ability to understand & deliver on our guests expectations;
- A passion for using fresh and local ingredients;
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
- Be able to multitask with a high attention to detail;
- Ability and willingness to commence work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays (essential).
- Located close to our restaurant or a willingness to relocate.
