Iconic Blue Mountains venue, Miss Lilian, re-opens at Lilianfels with a fresh new look and menu
Locals and visitors rejoice. Much loved Blue Mountains venue, Miss Lilian has reopened and is back better than ever with a fresh new look and an exciting new menu spotlighting the exotic flavours of Southeast Asia.
Located in the heart of the Blue Mountains on the grounds of Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa and next to the iconic Three Sisters, the new menu at Miss Lilian has been curated by experienced international chefs Quang Vinh Pham (James) and Vu Mai Truong Nguyen (Jason) to deliver a truly authentic experience.
Utilising their extensive experience cooking in the kitchens of Vietnam and Hong Kong, both chefs have combined their passion for bold flavours and innovative Asian cuisine with a menu full of street food favourites including modern Vietnamese, Thai dishes and Cantonese inspired Dim Sum.
According to Sandra Kloprogge, Salter Brother’s Hospitality Regional General Manager, the relaunch of Miss Lilian is a welcome addition to the local dining scene.
“We’re thrilled to be re-opening the doors to the much-loved local favourite, Miss Lilian, and bringing the flavours of Southeast Asia back to the Blue Mountains thanks to our talented team of chefs,” Regional General Manager, Mrs Sandra Kloprogge said.
“Adding to the authentic culinary experience at Miss Lilian, we also have our incredibly talented Restaurant Manager, Thao Quynh Tran, who hails from Vietnam and creates the most incredibly authentic cocktails and traditional Vietnamese milk coffees,” she said.
Offering a vibrant atmosphere thanks to the open-plan kitchen and playful interiors, the new menu features signature highlights such as Mongolian Braised Beef Short Rib, Crispy Skin Spatchcock with Calamansi Plum Sauce and ‘PHO’ Beef Noodle Soup while the dim sum menu includes traditional flavours such as Lobster, Ginger & Shallot, Lemongrass Pork & Prawn Siu Mai and BBQ Pork bun.
In addition, the refreshed beverage menu features a range of exotic Asian inspired alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails including Green Dragon Margarita (tequila, wasabi, cucumber, agave, green chilli salt), Green Punch (lemongrass infused vodka, apple, pineapple and lime) and Lilian’s Martini (dark rum, pandan, calamansi juice, grapefruit & pandan coconut foam).
The joyous interiors at Miss Lilian have also been updated and feature a soft palette of muted blues, greens and greys, tables laden with the nostalgic touch of blue and white porcelain, while the famous suspended bird cages remain a key feature of the space.
Miss Lilian will be open for dine-in and takeaway five days a week on Thursday to Monday from 11:30am – 5:30pm.
