Tucked away only 45 minutes from the bustling city centre of Adelaide, this iconic property is set on the edge of the breathtaking wine country of South Australia. Nestled within the historic Kingsford estate in the heart of the Barossa Valley, Orleana Restaurant offers a refined, immersive dining experience that celebrates South Australia’s rich culinary heritage.

Set against 225 acres of native Australian landscape and framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, this sleek, contemporary restaurant showcases the region’s finest seasonal produce - ethically sourced from the onsite chef’s garden and trusted local growers.

The Role and Key Duties

• Curate an unforgettable and personalised service experience for our guests from start to finish;
• Forge relationships with guests and locals to promote clientele loyalty & retention;
• Maximize and identify opportunities to sell products & experiences that suit the needs of our guests;
• Process payments accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and room charges according to hotel policies.
• Ensure the restaurant is presented to a high standard at all times, oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, assist with the setup and service of special events, banquets, and private functions as needed;
• Provide menu recommendations and explain our food philosophy to our guests;
• Provide food & beverage recommendations by identifying opportunities to upsell;
• Attentively maintain an organised section, including multiple tables and service stations.

Essential criteria required to be considered

• Prior experience in high end or la carte restaurant environment;
• RSA certificate (essential);
• A genuine love for great food & wine, a talent for customer service and a vibrant, outgoing nature;
• Ability and willingness to commence work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays;
• Reliable vehicle to get to and from the retreat;
• Located close to our restaurant or a willingness to relocate.
