The Role 

We have an exciting new opportunity at Milton Park Country House Hotel and Spa located in the Southern Highlands for a Food and Beverage Attendant to join the team. Specifically looking for breakfast and lunch shift we have around 24 hours and ideally your availability will include at least one weekend morning either Saturday or Sunday - Both would be great!

Located less than a two hours’ drive from Sydney, Milton Park Country House Hotel and Spa is a hidden gem, tucked away in a secluded hilltop woodland on the eastern edge of Bowral. This 44-room hotel has an adjoining luxury wellness spa, 2 restaurants and an events and conference pavilion set within it's sprawling 32 acres of lawns and gardens. 

Here's what you'll do

• Curate an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish;
• Forge loyal relationships with guests and locals to promote repeated clientele;
• Providing menu recommendations and explain our food philosophy to our guests;
• Provie food & beverage recommendations by identifying opportunities to upsell;
• Maintain a clean and organized section, including tables, chairs, and service stations;
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service;
• Handle payments and provide accurate billing information;
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role

• Prior experience working in a la carte, high end restaurant environment;
• Ability to hold a section on your own and work autonomously;
• Strong understanding of a sequence of service;
• Barista training preferred but not essential
• A genuine love for great food & wine;
• A talent for customer service with a vibrant and outgoing nature;
• Available to work shifts between 7am - latest finish 2pm
• A reliable vehicle to get to and from work.
